The dry root of Astragalus membranaceus (Fisch. )Bge.(Main origin of Gansu) or Astragalus membranaceus (Fisch. ) Bge. var. mongholicus ( Bge. ) Hsiao(Main origin of Inner Mongolia).

Astragalus Root Extract Cycloastragenol & Astragaloside IV ,Cycloastragenol from Astragalus Root, Chinese name Huang Qi, is an herb from traditional Chinese medicine(TCM) which is traditionally used for its immune enhancing properties, but is also recommended in TCM for"deficiency of chi"(life force)"C which might include symptoms such as lack of energy and fatigue. The plant isnative to Northern China and Mongolia and there are over 2,000 types of astragalus worldwide. The herb wasmentioned in the Divine Husbandman's Classic of the Materia Medica, written anonymously during the first centuryAD and attributed to the teachings of the legendary figure Shennong who is thought to have lived approximately 5,000 years ago.
